Granma goes to the National

We kidnapped granma Roses and took her to the Olivier to see A Matter of Life and Death, a play about a WW2 airman who gets stuck between earth and heaven because an angelic messenger gets lost in the fog. A very strange play but 'great theatre' - just right for our lot! There was a magician on a rope, someone falling out of a crashing aircraft, 8 nurses on bicycles... and at one point they set fire to a bed on stage- all to live music and dancing!
PS note the product placement for the £10 Travelex season!

Latest art work

One of London's newest and least likely art works (the green bit not Leo - though it does rather look as if he's trying to blend in...) The flytower at the National theatre has been covered in grass. Not quite sure what's it's supposed to represent but it is rather fun.

Anthony Gormley about town

And here's another - Anthony Gormley's most recent is called Event Horizon 31 life size castings of himself scattered round the london skyline. It's a bit like a life size Where's Wally. We found about a 12 just from Southbank.
